Over the weekend, Kyle Sandilands’ $13 million property in Vaucluse was surrounded by police after thieves targeted his street in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. More than 30 officers, with sniffer dogs, were searching for a trio of burglars who reportedly broke into multiple properties in the area. The incident occurred around 2:30 am when Sandilands’ private security team was alerted by perimeter alarms. Initially, Sandilands thought intruders were on his property, only to find out it was police conducting their search.
Sandilands discussed the ordeal on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, sharing how his alarms are designed to detect different scenarios—whether someone’s on the property or inside the house. Police had requested to enter his property with their dogs to continue the search, causing Sandilands to witness a chaotic scene with officers, including one who demonstrated impressive athleticism, jumping over high fences. Sandilands acknowledged that while his home was secure, the street had wealthier targets, making it a prime area for break-ins.
Two suspects remain at large, with police investigations ongoing.
